Just a quick reportback to say that my swim workout was just a tad more encouraging tonight. I did 22 laps of freestyle without stopping and without changing stroke (to sidestroke or breaststroke) and without drowning. And without feeling like dying. It was fine! It was good!
Let’s see how the track workout goes tomorrow morning. Lily is coming with me this time. Yay Lily.
It makes alllllllllllllllllll the difference in the world to have a workout buddy.

Sheesh. I was thinking of skipping my swim tonight (AGAIN) but you’ve (unintentionally) made me feel guilty LOL so I’ll be heading to the pool this afternoon!

Foodie, you cannot possibly conceive of how much I am IN AWE of you for taking on this challenge. I recently challenged myself to “exercise more days than I don’t exercise” (and am finding myself loving it much more than I thought I would) but as someone on the very early steps of becoming fit and learning to eat better, I check this site every day for inspiration. You listen to yourself better than almost anyone I know. Thank you for all the lessons. You’re AMAZING to me.
